Did you know that besides being pretty to look at and lovely to smell, the rose has also been used as a security measure.  Yes!  Every rose has it’s thorn and has been used as security measures to keep intruders from entering areas they shouldn’t be.  What a great addition to your security plan!  Plant a rose bush under a window, near a fence or wherever you want to keep intruders from invading your privacy.

A rose is good for your health too!  The rose hip is high in vitamin C and carries vitamin A, D, E in addition to the essential fatty acids, antioxidants and iron making it a very popular substance to people who are looking for a healthy lifestyle.
